Opioid Abuse Provider Resources

University Health is committed to stopping the misuse of prescription opioids. Along with Bexar County and the City of San Antonio, University Health founded the Joint Opioid Task Force, co-chaired by Dr. Bryan Alsip, executive vice president and chief medical officer. The Task Force is dedicated to finding locally-relevant, evidence-based solutions to the problem of opioid misuse and overdose.
