Why Choose a University Health Pharmacy
When you use a University Health pharmacy, your pharmacist has access to all of your medical information in one convenient spot. At University Health, you have just one electronic medical record. Diagnoses, test results, prescriptions and even doctor notes are included in your record.
Seeing your entire scope of care enables your pharmacist to develop a deeper understanding of your complete medical picture. This helps your pharmacist watch for concerns like possible drug interactions.

Safe Medication Disposal
Do you have medications that are expired or unneeded? Visit a University Health pharmacy and look for the green bins marked “Safe Drug Disposal.” These are authorized Drug Enforcement Administration collection bins.
Keep these tips in mind:
- Scratch out all identifying information from the pill bottle before tossing it in the bin.
- Do not place illegal substances in the bin.
- Package your medications securely to prevent leakage from liquid medications.
- Ask a pharmacist if you have any questions.
