Pharmacy Rx and Go Program
The University Health Pharmacy Rx and Go program is a prescription-filling service for University Family Care Plan members. You must meet certain criteria to qualify for the Rx and Go program. To see if you are eligible to participate, view our:
Request a Prescription Refill
We offer two ways to get your medications refilled. You can request a prescription refill through your MyChart account.
Pick Up
Visit one of our pharmacy locations if you prefer to pick up your prescriptions, or if:
- Your medication does not have a mailbox icon next to the drug name on our preferred drug list
- You are getting a controlled substance or medication that requires special handling, such as refrigeration
How to Request Your Prescription
New prescriptions should be faxed or emailed to the University Health pharmacy of your choice by your provider.
Refills should be called in using the electronic voice system of that pharmacy location.
Prescriptions filled at the hospital must be picked up at the outpatient discharge pharmacy. The night pharmacy will not service this program. If you need your prescription filled immediately, you should use an outside pharmacy of your choice.
Some prescriptions may require two business days to process if the medication is not routinely stocked.
Copay Information
Copays apply for prescription pickups.
University Health employees, please note that copays will be deducted from your paycheck when a prescription is processed for you or your dependents. Retirees and COBRA members are responsible for copay at the time of pickup.

You can use this option if your medication has a mailbox icon next to the drug name on our preferred drug list.
Fill out our Prescription Mail Out Request form online or print it out. Return the completed form to us at one of our pharmacy locations. You also can fax it to us at 210-358-9650 or mail to:
