Our board-certified family medicine doctors and pediatricians treat patients of all ages on a walk-in basis. Existing University Health patients with an activated University Health MyChart account can skip the line before arriving to the clinic by using the "Find Care Now" feature on MyChart. Our facilities have on-site X-ray and pharmacy services for your convenience.
We offer telemedicine visits for adults and children with primary and urgent care providers from 6 – 10 p.m., Monday – Friday. Call 210-644-3209 to schedule an appointment.
PediExpress, a walk-in care center in San Antonio for children at our Robert B. Green Campus, is staffed by board-certified pediatricians. We also accept walk-ins only, and we’re open late on Saturdays. Your medical home Family Health Center also offers same-day appointments when you are not able to see your primary care provider.
When to Go to a Walk-In Clinic
When you can’t reach your doctor, or it’s after hours, come to our ExpressMed clinic. We are open Monday – Sunday 7 a.m. – 8 p.m. Our ExpressMed clinics offer fast, convenient care for minor illnesses and injuries and is staffed by board-certified doctors and advanced-practice providers.
If you are experiencing a true medical emergency, please go to the nearest Emergency Department or call 911. Our emergency department is open 24/7 and has board-certified emergency doctors and specialists available for your medical needs.
COVID-19 Testing & Treatments in San Antonio
You can visit one of our ExpressMed walk-in clinics for COVID-19 testing. Established patients with an activated University Health MyChart account will have immediate access to their test results as soon as they are available.
If you test positive for COVID-19 and have been evaluated by one of our providers, they may prescribe Paxlovid, an oral medication intended for individuals with mild to moderate symptoms.

Existing patients with an activated University Health MyChart account can use the "Find Care Now" feature to save your spot in line at our walk-in care clinics, so you spend less time waiting in line when you’re feeling under the weather and save time once you get here. Simply select an available time slot and then follow the prompts to confirm your arrival time.
Please note this is not an appointment, but a reservation. The time you selected is an approximate time only. Patients may be seen first depending on the urgency of their situation. If you arrive more than 10 minutes after your reserved time, please keep in mind that we cannot guarantee your reservation and you will be seen in the order of arrival and/or urgency.
When you arrive at ExpressMed or PediExpress, remember to open your “MyChart” app and let us know you're here by clicking the “I'm here” button.
