Position Summary/Responsibilities:
Provides direct and indirect nursing care to patients in the Ambulatory setting. Supports and promotes University Health values to ensure patient/guest relations.
Education/Experience:
- At least one year experience in direct patient care is preferred.
- Current American Heart Association, Basic Cardiac Life Support and Healthcare Provider card required.
- Must possess a current license to practice Vocational Nursing in the State of Texas.

Position Summary/Responsibilities:
Collects blood or laboratory samples using appropriate aseptic collection methods and the correct collection system, from inpatients and outpatients in the proper container correctly labeling all tubes.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- One year of laboratory experience preferred; or Military Laboratory Training: (Phase I -Air Force or Basic-Army).
- Knowledge of capillary and venipuncture techniques is preferred.
- One-year experience is highly desirable for donor and therapeutic lab draws.

Position Summary/Responsibilities:
Provides nursing care that is efficient, appropriate, and therapeutic for patients while ensuring that established security requirements are maintained as defined by the Bexar County Adult Detention Center.
Education/Experience:
- Experience in correctional health care, psychiatric nursing, or nursing in an emergency environment is preferred.
- Prior knowledge or experience within the University Health's nursing services and/or certification as a Certified Correctional Health Care Provider (CCHP) is also preferred.
- Must possess a current license to practice Vocational Nursing in the State of Texas.

Position Summary/Responsibilities:
Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis.
Education/Experience:
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology, or eligibility to take the registry with one year grace period for new graduates from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
- Texas Department of Health (MRT) Certification or a temporary Certification (TMRT) is required.
