A Mission on the Move. Thinking Beyond the Medical Center to Expand Access and Improve Health

Interested in learning more about University Health's historic Capital Improvement Program? Construction is well underway for two full-service state-of-the-art hospitals and two multi-specialty health centers, and we'd love to come share the big news with civic organizations, community associations, churches and other community groups.

These new locations on the South Side, East Side and far Northeast Side will begin opening by early 2026, providing comprehensive health services in areas with growing populations but limited access to physician specialists, inpatient and emergency care, and diagnostic and surgical services.

This is the largest expansion program in University Health’s more than 100-year history and we're ready to present details and have a conversation about what these new locations will bring in terms of health care access, economic impact and our deep commitment to improving the health of our community.

Let’s connect, collaborate and build the future together! Contact Anita.Martin@uhtx.com today to schedule a presentation.

Expected to open in 2025, this center will ensure residents on San Antonio’s South Side have access to health education, preventive health services and community resources, along with primary care, specialty care and mental health services. It will be the first building to open on University Health’s 68-acre Palo Alto Campus at the intersection of South Zarzamora and Jaguar Parkway.
