Since 2006, University Health Foundation has brought our community together through the Medical Miracles Gala to celebrate health and healing, while providing for the advancement of critical care for future patients and their families. 100% of the proceeds raised at this event go to impacting the mission, benefiting patients of University Health.

2026 Medical Miracles Gala

For more than 100 years, University health has been addressing the changing needs of our community. Its commitment to meeting the pressing needs of South Texas while providing the best care is unwavering.

For the 2026 Medical Miracles Gala, University Health Foundation will highlight and celebrate University Health’s clinical excellence while supporting the Cardiovascular Center. Funds raised at the Gala will facilitate the growth and expansion of cardiovascular services in San Antonio.

During the gala, you will also meet our 2026 Medical Miracle Malea Potter, who was born with a congenital heart condition and always dreamed of having children. We’ll follow her complicated journey to motherhood that involved extensive cardiovascular testing, procedures and putting her faith in the care team at the University Health Women’s Heart Center.
