Hospital Stays Don’t Stop Summer Camp for These Kids

Camp University Kids! brings summer fun to the hospital

Being in the hospital isn’t fun for kids — especially in the summertime when their friends are out playing and going to summer camps. But they don’t have to miss out on all the fun! They — and their siblings, who often spend long hours in the hospital with their families — can learn about the outdoors, participate in the arts with Say Si and build robots at Camp University Kids! Here are some activities taking place throughout the week:

  • Tuesday, August 2, 2:30 to 4 p.m. First Lego League (building robots)
  • Wednesday, August 3, 10:30 a.m. to noon, Picnic and Crafts in the Garden
  • Thursday, August. 4, 10:30 a.m. to noon, Say Si Activity (arts)

All activities at University Hospital, 4502 Medical Drive. Please contact a Corporate Communications representative above if you are interested in covering any of these activities.
