Safe Kids San Antonio hosts free family event

Preventable injuries are the number one killer of kids in South Texas, but almost every one of these tragedies is preventable. Let us show you how every kid can be a safe kid at a fun community event with games and educational opportunities for the whole family.

Join us for Safe Kids Day Saturday, May 4. During this free event, parents and kids will learn how to prevent injuries at home and on the road. Hands-on exhibits include a smoke house educational experience, stop the bleed instruction, distracted driving course and much more!

Safe Kids Day is presented by University Health, Lowe’s and the Texas Department of Transportation. The injury prevention team at University Health leads Safe Kids San Antonio.
