I am the attending nephrologist at University Health, the medical director of inpatient and outpatient hemodialysis services and the director of the faculty development in nephrology. My expertise is in bone and mineral metabolism, cardiovascular calcification, anemia of chronic kidney disease and hyperkalemia. I am also a professor of medicine in the division of nephrology at UT Health San Antonio.
Career Highlights: Throughout my time, I’ve published more than 60 articles, 55 abstracts, several reviews, editorials and book chapters. I have also delivered several lectures on these subjects at national and international meetings.
