I am an assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Cardiology. I joined the UT Health San Antonio Pediatric Cardiology faculty in 2018.

I’m originally from the San Antonio area. I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 2005. I then completed medical school and pediatrics residency training at UT Health San Antonio prior to pursuing further education in Pediatric Cardiology at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida.

My current academic interests include pediatric cardiac genetics and cardiac imaging. I am American Board of Pediatrics certified since 2014 and have been American Board of Pediatrics/Cardiology certified since 2018.
