Labor & Delivery In-Person Tours

Register for the 45-minute tour of our Women’s & Children’s labor & delivery unit and explore where you will be welcoming your baby. The tour will feature:

• Drop-off entrance and registration information
• Family-friendly spacious labor & delivery and postpartum suites
• A Mother’s Place breastfeeding support center with customized nutrition for babies
• Spacious family lounges on every floor

We are the only hospital in South Texas dedicated to the specialized needs of women and children, including a Level IV NICU and Maternity Center and 24/7 center for OB/GYN emergencies. This includes support for customized birth plans and “golden hour” uninterrupted bonding. To promote family bonding, our private-room NICU allows parents to stay with their newborn 24/7 in a hotel-like suite. All babies are protected by our infant security system.

Registration is required to attend the tour.

Reminders

• Please meet in the level 1 lobby at the main entrance of the Women’s & Children’s Hospital near the H-E-B Grand Staircase.
• Inform the front desk you are here for the labor & delivery tour.
• Bring your University Health parking garage ticket and we will validate it.
• ID is required.
