The Women’s & Children’s Hospital is located on the University Health Main Campus. It is the first hospital in South Texas exclusively focused on the unique needs of women and children.
It is home to our Level IV NICU and Level IV Maternal Center, the hospital features:
- Spacious labor and delivery suites
- Large postpartum rooms
- Customized nutrition for newborns
- Advanced maternal and neonatal care in warm and welcoming spaces
The Hope Hits Harder Child Life Center, in memory of Jana Bounds, hosts special events, arts and crafts, and features a play area for children and their siblings. Certified Child Life specialists help pediatric patients understand and cope with medical diagnoses in an age-appropriate way.

Visitor Parking Garage
Paid parking is available to patients and visitors in the Visitor Parking Garage which is located next to the Women's & Children's Hospital.
After parking, patients and visitors will enter University Hospital through the Bill Greehey Way Bridge on the main level of the Visitors Garage. For parking tips or to download our campus map, please visit our Parking webpage.
