Specialized Care for Newborns
New parents want the best care for the youngest member of their family. At University Health, we have doctors, nurses and specialists ready to meet every need you and your new baby may have.
The Women's & Children's Hospital is a certified Baby-Friendly facility. This designation recognizes our commitment to the mothers and newborns we care for.
What to Expect After Childbirth
After labor and delivery, you will be able to “room in” with your baby in a private postpartum room to begin strengthening the parent-baby bond.
We encourage you to breastfeed your baby. Our nurses will help you get started and guide you toward success in the coming days.
